Hello all!
Today is an exciting day. Even though we are only putting up a couple updates, we have made great progress on several others that will be online in a short while. Here is a small description of the changes from today:
We've enabled messaging for users (to other users), which you'll notice as the little envelope next to your username. This is the first in a series of user-oriented features that build upon one another to let you really start connecting with others.
There are also a few changes to the site design which are part of an ongoing effort to refine our look. No need to go into detail here, but hopefully you notice an improvement :).
As always, we welcome any comments or requests for features; we have many ideas for features to come, but if you think of anything you would like to see, dont hesitate to let us know what that is.
We are now starting to actively reach out to businesses and organizations for their support and their presence on the site. If you have any friends or family with a business, please encourage them to sign up - every new business adds a piece of culture to AllForLocal. Thanks for your support!
